The Band::

The Possum Hunters  Bluegrass Band is a six piece bluegrass band providing high energy, foot stompin' bluegrass music that appeals to people of all ages.  Songs range from driving traditional tunes to more modern sounding music with a rock or jazz flair played on bluegrass instruments.

We have performed on radio and television in the Chattanooga and surrounding areas, before enthusiastic crowds at company functions, corporate parties and celebrations, festivals and weddings. We’ve participated in the Riverbend festival in Chattanooga, Tennessee  many times, performed at NightFall and Coffee House Concerts at Miller Plaza in Chattanooga, and are frequent performers at the Mountain Opry located on Signal Mountain TN.  

We have been together for more than 20 years now with  3 of the original members still performing.  We currently have two Cds; “The Possum Hunters”  is our original CD with many traditional tunes on it and “Still Grinnin’” is the latest with several  original tunes.  We are available for bookings in the Chattanooga and surrounding areas.  Give us a call or email us if we can help entertain at your next gathering!
